While the device can be effective in killing bed bugs, it's important to note that achieving full eradication may take some time and consistent use.

1. Direct Exposure -  Bed bugs and dust mites often hide in small cracks and crevices, as well as deep within fabrics. Ensuring that the UV-C light reaches all these hiding spots may require thorough and repeated treatments.

2. Treatment Duration - It's important to note that killing them with UV-C light doesn't happen overnight. They hide in various places and may require several treatments over days or even weeks to ensure all areas are thoroughly treated. Continuous and consistent use of the UV device helps in eliminating newly hatched bed bugs and dust mites as they become exposed.

3. Consistent Use - Regular and consistent use of the Lumivyx HaloClean UV device is crucial. This ensures that all stages of bed bugs and dust mites  (adults, nymphs, and eggs) are exposed to the UV-C light, which is necessary for effective eradication.

4. Supplementary Measures - Combining the use of the Lumivyx HaloClean UV device with other pest control methods, such as regular cleaning, vacuuming, and washing bedding at high temperatures, can enhance overall effectiveness and speed up the elimination process.
